Plans: Anatomy test, Physiology test, quick walk to the asylum…
A.M. Prayer: Monday we pray to Mano/Manni, god of the moon, and lighting a white candle (symbolic of the moon):
Greetings to you Mano/Manni, silver messenger on high, as you fly silently on your way reflect into our souls the glory of the High Ones that we might aspire to the realms of the gods. Bathe our world in soft brightness, and whisper to our souls of joyous realms beyond our knowing. Mano/Manni let us see the goodness within us and without us, all the nights and days of our lives. MANO/MANNI, HAIL!!
Rune Summons:
Born of Fire, born of ice,
Life is lived at such a price.
Holy Runes send my way
Advice on how to spend the day
Outcome: Well, at least the dimly burning torch is gone (see yesterday) but an unstable situation still exists.
There is and will be plenty of destabilization for the next several weeks: going to Missouri this weekend to bring back Audie’s stuff (then gotta find places to put it), finishing a tough semester in whatever way it falls, two weekends from now my first colonoscopy procedure, finishing a tough semester in whatever way it falls, Heritage wanting me back May 3 (which probably won’t happen)…lots of stuff.
Audie to CSL at the crack-of-fucking-dawn
McDs breakfast after
Cram study
The Anatomy test…well, come to find out I wasn’t the only one who looked at that test and went WTF? We’ll just have to wait and see. I am sure it won’t be pretty.
I have the tendency to think that things happen for a reason. As I was heading to Anatomy class I saw a familiar face. He was the program director for the Legal Assistant program at WSU. He is now a professor of the Paralegal studies at Newman. He was just finishing up a class. So many memories and possibilities ran thru my head. Why was it, after struggling all with Anatomy and Physiology questioning everything, do I run into a familiar face from a familiar program of study? My Associate degree in Legal Assistant is dead because it’s so old, but it certainly couldn’t take that much to revive, and legal proceedings were and still remain my first love. Perhaps I had to endure this to get to where I needed to be all along. I plan to have a face-to-face very soon with John C. to discuss this and tell him of my progress. I would be curious to see how he would respond.
Destabilization can lead to re-stabilization.
Surprisingly enough I better about the Physiology exam than the Anatomy exam.
Worked on the Physiology lab report. DAMN, it looks good! I got an email from the professor saying we have reached the end of labs and once we get this lab report in we’re done!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wish the same could be said for Anatomy lab.
I’m a bit anxious to see test results from both classes.
At first I questioned this Rune for the day, but now I get it!
P.M. Prayer: All you gods and goddesses bless and keep your Holy Folk. From the cold shadows of the glaciers to the colder shadows of space, always, we have been your people. Guide and guard your North folk as you did in ages past. Wodan/Odin, give wisdom and craft to wits shaped by ice and fire that our foes be foxed. Donar/Thor, give us strength and the will to use it. Ing Fro/Freyr and Uualburga Frouwa/Freyja, give full wombs so that bodies will be found for the souls of heroes. Let your Northern Folk grow in number and in power, so that our kind may live, love, survive and thrive, not just today, not for a millennium, but for ever and ever!
