Note: We got back from St Louis/Eureka, Missouri mid-evening last night: tired and dragging, nonetheless thankful to be home. The Runes for the weekend couldn’t have been more accurate. On the 23rd I was thankful for Heimdall’s protection (Algiz) as we drove almost all the way in heavy rain. Moving day, the 24th was a very emotional (Berkana) day all the way around; so much so Audie and I snapped at each other at the end of it. Leaving day, the 25th and everything was under control once more because we were able to work together in tandem (Ehwaz) to get the job done.
Plans: take it as it comes
A.M. Prayer: Monday we pray to Mano/Manni, god of the moon, and lighting a white candle (symbolic of the moon):
Greetings to you Mano/Manni, silver messenger on high, as you fly silently on your wayreflect into our souls the glory of the High Ones that we might aspire to the realms of the gods. Bathe our world in soft brightness, and whisper to our souls of joyous realms beyond our knowing. Mano/Manni let us see the goodness within us and without us, all the nights and days of our lives. MANO/MANNI, HAIL!!
Rune Summons:
Born of Fire, born of ice,
Life is lived at such a price.
Holy Runes send my way
Advice on how to spend the day
Outcome: Mowed front yard and sculpted the Solar Cross
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! That tells me we did the right thing over the weekend and are the victors for it; which to some may seem the contrary.
Worked on the research paper for Physiology: IT’S ALMOST DONE!
Anatomy is finally coming to an end…well, soon anyway.
Meeting with John C. after Anatomy class: some good things are happening here!
Physiology is coming to an end, too!
I don’t know what happened…Tension, serious tension: if this is success or leadership, you can have it!
Meeka for an early evening walk
P.M. Prayer: Ostara/Idun:
Ostara/Idun, keeper of the golden apples of youth, keep us young inside. When we are starving for laughter, hungry for the lightness that comes with having few years on our shoulders, slip us one of those gleaming fruits that we may see the world through youthful eyes. Let springtime be in our steps, love in our hearts and a song on our lips. Change us to the core! Fill us with optimism and dreams for the future. HAIL OSTARA/IDUN!!!
P.M. Rune: none
Comments: tended to animals, Meeka inside
