A.M. Prayer: Thursday, we pray to Donar/Thor, and lighting a red candle:
Donar/Thor, thunder forth in our lives. When we would hold back, let us advance. When we would be weak, help us be strong. When we would shun life’s pleasures, sharpen our appetites for that which is lusty and good. Help us grow from strength, and teach us, elder brother, how to throw our own Hammer, and slay the giants who appose our will. HAIL DONAR/THOR!!

It has taken some serious frustration but I think I have some things figured out:
- I finally have a good workout routine I can live with despite my presumed bursitis: lower weights high reps. I say presumed because I have had this pain in my shoulder for some time and have tried to adjust my workout accordingly yet have not been to the doctor for it: the doctor’s appointment is coming up next week. Another consideration is my hernia surgery. It sucks getting old!
- I think I have come up with a way to scrutinize the massive amounts of information between Anatomy and Anatomy lab. As of right now I’m not sure if I’m on the right track so I emailed the prof to get her input on my processes.
Winter weather is moving in! We could have 4-8” of snow very soon!
It’s 6PM/1800 and it’s a-comin’!!!
P.M. Prayer: Nirdu/Njord:
Nirdu/Njord, god of harbors and seas close to land, Father of Freyr and Freyja, help us to remember the cargoes of wealth that float to our doors daily from the wonderful universe in which we live. Though our misfortunes may rise and fall like the tides, the chance of prosperity, like the eternal sea brimming with fish, is still there. Like the salt-sea spray, awaken us to the possibilities that surround us, so that our nets may be cast wide and return full of life’s gifts. HAIL NIRDU/NJORD!!
