Outcome: Toby’s walk this morning was a bit of an adventure. Early in the walk I spotted another loose dog ahead so I put Toby on his leash for his own protection. Getting a bit closer to the dog I REALLY thought it was a neighbor’s dog loose. Knowing Toby would be über excited, I opted to hurry back to the neighbor’s house. Knocking on the door and his dog comes to the window; well okay, not his. Walking away he comes to the back door and I explained things. Onward to the walk an we again uncounted that same dog. OMGs it was a friendly, wonderful Bassett. I was ready to coax the dog home and call the Humane Society, when a lady from a nearby house came out to talk to me. Turned out she had seen the dog previously so we discussed what to do with it. She MAY keep it or she has contact with a no-kill humane society. We agreed this dog was WAY TOO COOL to let go to be killed. If she decides not to keep it I may foster it until an owner can be found. Naudiz and Gibor right here? Toby and I were off to finish
his walk.
Family time on the porch. Toby SO wanted to go check out another dog, and actually started making the mad dash. Lucky for him he responded to very a sternly worded voice command.
Separated recyclables
Essie is obviously feeling better.
There’s been too much of an outcry. I have to keep posting to the website and to Fb, so I spent some time getting caught-up on both.
Watered the baby bushes around the Wîhstat.
Washed (or more correctly, rinsed) the car.

Socks has realized that no one sits on the porch anymore. On the porch he was a regular lap-cat when A_ or I would be on the porch. He has started to do the same thing when I’m sitting in my char. Good Socks!

No cold/flu medicine taken all day and I’m doing okay!
