Plans: work
Ziu, husband to Zisa, Great God of bravery, one-handed god, you chained the Fenris Wolf that threatened the worlds. We can’t do that, but we can do other things, some
ordinary, others heroic. Remind us of your bravery and your sacrifice. Give us the courage and strength we need to fetter our own Fenris. Keep us mindful of our duties, and help us keep our fears bound as tightly as you bound old Slaver Mouth. Thus doing, may we share in your glory by imitating you. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, ZIU, as we honor the Ziu that resides in us all!
Outcome: No Runes were drawn this morning. I was too busy tending to animals after the thunderstorm overnight:
Getting Socks into the Haruc
Cleaning out Toby’s doghouse
Settling Essie
It was a good day at Sunshine Metals. I talked to the plant supervisor about learning to operate a forklift. He admitted that very subject came up at the 2:30 meeting. It’s an issue that needs attention. PLUS, the lead-man was much more tolerable than yesterday.
Toby’s walk was a bit warm today; 70+ and humid. The overcast skies made it tolerable. Toby has been pretty stubborn lately. Today, he COMPLETELY ignored a voice command, not once, but TWICE, taking it upon himself to go onto someone’s porch. I lost it! He got a bit more than a verbal berating. Yes, he got a swat on the rump.
My ex-common-law-tax-wife called saying she had three of my boxes at her place. Unfortunately, I had to go get them. I made sure to huggle with Pyewacket, her cat. I miss Pyewacket more than I do A_.
Relaxing…
