Plans: study, usw
AM Prayer: Friday, we pray to the glorious siblings, Walburga Frouwa/Freyja and Ing Fro/Freyr, and lighting a gold candle (for Freyja’s tears and Freyr’s golden boar, Gullinbursti).
Walburga Frouwa/Freyja, who could not love you? Women as their own inner glory and highest attainment as the self-made woman, men for your beauty, passion and strength. Praise to you for the gift of life, and for the love that makes life worth living. Remind us always that it is the strong who love the best and the most, and that only the mighty can truly be gentle. Fill our lives with passion and lust that we may live our lives to the fullest. HAIL WALBURGA FROUWA/FREYJA!!
Ing Fro/Freyr, you are the god of “Ar”, the good harvest and prosperity: you are indeed the lusty enlarger of life. When the day to day wears us down, remind us of pleasures and joys. Help us recall the wonderful excesses that brought our lives into being and which sustain the human spirit during good times and bad. Without you, there would be no life and certainly little delight. Thank you, Ing Fro/Freyr, for the rushing life spirit and the eternal play of passions that make our lives fruitful. ING FRO/FREYR, HAIL!!

Meeka for a walk…
Cleaned off the driveway and porch
It seems the backyard neighbor is in the habit of letting his little pug dog run loose in the neighborhood. When his daughter lived there such was not the case but since she has moved this practice has become more evident. When I finished Meeka’s walk the little pug dog came sauntering over. In the not-to-distant past I have been rather insistent the dog stay away from Meeka but I have taken a bit of a shine to the pooch; so, today, I let him in the backyard as an experiment. OMGs! If this little pooch could have managed it somehow he would have mounted Meeka and Meeka would have let him. It was so funny; a couple of times he was honestly hunching the air! Thank the gods I was there to keep them apart yet let them play for a bit.
Sharon’s Charter Country for lunch
DAMN! Newman library closed at noon for this pseudo fall break that benefits only a few. Well then, it’s off to the City Library. The best laid plans of mice and men turned icky as the library became inundated with children, also off for their fall break. Almost home and I decided to patronize Starbuck’s for study time and a fruity drink! I got thru the Positioning workbook for the chapter and looked ahead for Lab.
During study time I had kind of an AHA moment and how I need to be going about my studies. I have been too retroactive; always playing catch up, and I need to be proactive in thinking ahead. Simplistic, I know…
ARGH!!!! I just now read the email sent from the Medical Terminology yesterday AFTER I had checked yesterday’s email and went onto classes. She only opened the test for “lock-outs” from yesterday morning (9:15AM) to yesterday night (10:55PM to be exact). JsMrFnChst! When my “lock out” happened I emailed her to let her know and I watched my email for DAYS; resigned to the fact I would have to retake the exam during reading week. After DAYS of checking now this: ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! I have “compassionately” emailed the instructor with my disgust.
For fear of being redundant…DISGUSTED…and…under-motivated…right now…
HAIL HEIMDALL nonetheless!
PM Prayer: The Norns:
The Norns all three are present at birth
To weave our Fate from merriment to dearth.
Urd, Verdandi and Skuld, the dark queens renowned;
Glorious ladies ‘neath the Tree, work your mysteries in us now.
That which “was” we clearly see.
That which “is” formed now in our deeds.
That which “will be”, will yet be; but cannot see.
We celebrate the Norns, the Ladies Three, for eternity.
PM Rune: none
