Plans: start classes at Newman U
A.M. Prayer: Tuesday, we pray to Ziu/Tyr and lighting a purple candle (for honor):
Ziu/Tyr, you chained the Fenris Wolf that threatened the worlds. We can’t do that, but we can do other things, some ordinary, others heroic. Remind us of your bravery and your sacrifice. Give us the courage and strength we need to fetter out own Fenris. Keep us mindful of our duties, and help us keep our fears bound as tightly as you bound old Slaver Mouth. Thus doing, we may we share in your glory by imitating you. ZIU/TYR HAIL!!

Advice on how to spend the day
Outcome: This is actually perfekt advice! As I start my next educational endeavor this is not a time to use my communication skills; rather, it the time to utilize my listening skills.
Audie seems to be doing a bit better today after a really good night’s sleep.
10AM Physiology Lab was a bust: the instructor didn’t show. Yeah, he sent an email about yesterday’s no class because of MLK Day but he said nothing about canceling lab. We who were there (about 8 of us) signed an attendance sheet and I went home.
I called Dr. Raam’s office telling them about the neurologist send us back to him. Since Audie was just seen by him yesterday I practically begged the nurse to ask Dr. Raam if he could prescribe SOMETHING to help Audie pull out of this funk: so far no word.
Audie made some smothered pork chops; I made some mashed potatoes and corn: YUMMERS! When Audie woke up I made a plate for her, too.
Another loose dog came wondering around the neighborhood; this one was a black lab. It only pestered around here for a bit and was soon off to harass other unsuspecting neighborhoods.
Dr. Raam’s office returned my call. Sometimes her communication with others isn’t exactly how another would see the same situation. Audie may have confused her situation with her last visit with him. I think they are starting to see the value of my going in with Audie, at least for a while, just to make sure things are what they are.
4PM Anatomy Lab actually happened! It was so funny: students waiting on class were congregated in the hallway. Seemingly there was no instructor yet. We were all keeping an eye on the time. Just prior to class time, I came right out and asked, “Has anybody tried the door to see if it’s open?” Wouldn’t ya know it: it was open! We all had a good laugh. I think things are going to be okay!
Lemme tell you what I have seen in Audie over the last 6 days; or more correctly, what I haven’t seen. I haven’t seen the light in her eyes. I haven’t seen a smile on her face. I haven’t heard excitement in her voice. I haven’t seen a spring in her step. I haven’t heard her sing. There’s no spring in her step. I just haven’t seen Audie at all. I haven’t had the chance to communicate that to Dr. Raam, but hopefully that will soon change!
P.M. Prayer: Ostara/Idun:
Ostara/Idun, keeper of the golden apples of youth, keep us young inside. When we are starving for laughter, hungry for the lightness that comes with having few years on our shoulders, slip us one of those gleaming fruits that we may see the world through youthful eyes. Let springtime be in our steps, love in our hearts and a song on our lips. Change us to the core! Fill us with optimism and dreams for the future. HAIL OSTARA/IDUN!!!
