Plans: study, May Day I the Park, study
A.M. Prayer: Sunday, we pray to Sonne/Sunna, lighting a yellow candle (symbolic of the Sun):
Greetings to you Sonne, Lamp of Wodan/Odin: newly risen! Hail to you who has shown on all our ancestors, who shines on us, and who will shine on our decedents yet unborn. Share with us some of your light, your energy, your power, so that we might better fight our battles and attain our goals. SONNE/SUNNA HAIL!!
Born of Fire, born of ice,
Life is lived at such a price.
Holy Runes send my way
Advice on how to spend the day
A.M. Rune: Two Runes
Outcome: I was immediately impressed to slow down and get some studying done that will result in an appropriate harvest.
Finished a targeted resume for a paralegal position to hand in to J. Connlee on Monday.
May Day in the Park didn’t go over too well for me. I think this is going to be the last one I attend.
Off to campus to get into Anatomy Lab for models: it seems I wasn’t the only one who though about studying on a Sunday afternoon. I stayed for a while but soon came home to concentrate on the textbook.
Okay, I just can’t study any more, Cap’n…I just can’t do it…
Meeka for a walk to clear my head
P.M. Prayer: All you gods and goddesses bless and keep your Holy Folk. From the cold shadows of the glaciers to the colder shadows of space, always, we have been your people. Guide and guard your North folk as you did in ages past. Wodan/Odin, give wisdom and craft to wits shaped by ice and fire that our foes be foxed. Donar/Thor, give us strength and the will to use it. Ing Fro/Freyr and Uualburga Frouwa/Freyja, give full wombs so that bodies will be found for the souls of heroes. Let your Northern Folk grow in number and in power, so that our kind may live, love, survive and thrive, not just today, not for a millennium, but for ever and ever!
P.M. Rune: none
Comments: cared for animals, Meeka inside
