A_ actually picked up a few grocery items and gave me a bit for gas:  shock-shock!

Awwww…Toby gets constant kibble plus a can of wet food every day.  Essie is practically fed on demand at this point.  As I prepared Toby’s wet food, Essie came into the kitchen wanting fed, too.  I told Essie I’d be right back, but she followed me to where I feed Toby.  Toby was getting a drink of water as Essie was diving into his food.  My concern was that Toby would get pissed and snap at Essie.  In a low voice I let Toby know I was watching, but Toby, without getting angry, started eating kibble while Essie was eating his wet.  I watched this beautiful sight for a while with a tear in my eye until I went to pick up Essie to take her back into the kitchen to prepare her bowl.  Toby quietly started eating his wet food after I took Essie away.  I’m telling you, this beautiful scene let me know that Toby and Essie have a GREAT relationship forming.

I got a total of 9 hrs of sleep recently but I’m still dragging.

Watered the baby trees.  I’m certain I’m going to lose at least one of the baby trees in spite of my diligent watering in this horrid summer.  If this heat continues too much longer I may lose more.  It’s all green and wonderful around the base of all the trees, which tells me I’m sufficiently watering, but the tree itself is so brown.  Other trees are starting to show negative effects of this summer.

Worked on and hand-delivered paperwork for the Veterans
Administration.  I’m entering my financial information (means test) early,
coupled with a waiver request so they can see the $50,000+ I made last year with
my former employer compared to the problems I’ve had with unemployment. 
Hopefully the waiver will give me free healthcare.

I got a very kind offer of help with my divorce.  I’m not sure if I can accept it.

Off to the store for taco items.

DAMN I make great homemade tacos!  My secret is the packet of seasonings I put in the taco meat.  With all that, coupled with chopped lettuce and tomatoes…YUM!

What the hel gives with napping early evening, getting back up late evening only to go back to bed shortly thereafter?  That’s not a habit I want to encourage.

Once again Essie goes right to my heart when she crawls into my arms to go to sleep.  I stayed up until 1AM/01:00 just holding he, looking at her, enjoying her; completely in awe of Her Highness!  I REALLY do love this kitten.

I have struggled time and again with the Unemployment people.  More times than not any efforts with them really does seem unfriendly and deceptive(Ehwaz (R)).  Perseverance finally favors (Ka) me with some good news; that is, as long as it’s true.  By next Thursday, I should have five weeks of back unemployment, to the tune of over $2,000, should be in my bank account.

Deceptive?  Yeah, I KNOW A_ has been paid.  She has yet to volunteer any info on how much she plans on contributing to gas and/or groceries.  I just don’t trust (Ehwaz (R)) her at all.  I need some higher consciousness (Ka) in how to deal with this tactfully.

Ya know, I just can’t believe she’s going to try to squeeze money out of me in this divorce.  Yes, she made investment onto the property while she had money, BUT I NEVER AGREED TO ANY OF THEM!  I expressed my dissatisfaction with what she wanted to do, in the form of, “It’s not necessary”, but she ignored me and did what she wanted to do.  NOW, she presumably wants me to pay her back the money she invested, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY AND NO REAL MONEY
FORTHCOMING!  Hel my way of thinking is SHE OWES ME for the two-years I totally
supported her, and whatever she invested should be looked at as even-Steven. This morning, as I the Vaygar-Ingvald Taxi Service took her ass to work, I expressed my disbelief at what she was going to try to do.  Her response? “With my propensity for seizures you’re bringing this up just before work.”  I just can’t win for fucking losing.  My attorney has yet to respond to her email.

Power finally came back on at 11AM.  Now the Haruc A/C won’t come back on; the outlet needs changed.

Amazing, isn’t it?  A_ is laying claim to have had two seizures AT WORK in a little more than a week’s time.  JsMrFnChst!  I don’t know what to be live and what not to believe anymore; just be done with it!  I’m just wondering how much of this is legit, or is she faking it to make a point.

I started reading Steve A’s book on “Heathen Magic” in PDF.  He gave me a pre-copyright version.  This guy is ABSOUTELY brilliant!  I find, though, reading is much slower on computer than having book-in-hand, so I‘m only half-way through it and must quit for the night.  Good stuff here!

A_ reminded me of tentatively agreeing to help momma with the weeds in her fence-line.  Of course I’d help momma anytime!  Armed with my trimmer it was easily done.  Momma also had a concern for a couple of rocks in her yard.  I went home, got my pick-ax and removed the rocks in a matter of minutes.  Needless to say momma was extremely grateful.  I don’t know why momma always wants to pay for services rendered but it makes her fell good.
