I think my interview with Impresa Aerospace http://www.impresaaerospace.com/ went well.  Anybody that has an air-conditioned plant gets my vote.  I initially met with two managers.  One took me out to the shop floor to test me on my fabrication skills.  I’m thinking it was a lead-man who laid out a simple part to be fabricated and I finished it.  Hopefully I did well enough to impress them.  I was told they will make their selection by Friday and I am to give them a return call then.

Audie and I are really close to settling our divorce issues.

I made calls to the Urban League http://www.kansasul.org/ and Bank of America https://www.bankofamerica.com/ to work on limited finances coming soon.

My TAA rep returned my call.  I called asking if she knew anything about Impresa Aerospace.  She said she knows of someone hired there for assembly that started out at $16 hr plus 50c shift differential.  Not bad, eh?  She then told me I may have to rethink any schooling possibility because she doesn’t think my interest in a certificate only program will aid me in marketing myself.  This frustrates the hel out of me because I am just not interested in any more schooling.  Yeah, I’m sure my age has plenty to do with it and my inability to put up with much bullshit any more.  Besides, I have my Associates and Bachelors degrees.  Other than those I have just been unsuccessful with anything else.  Eh, we’ll see.

Essie is really becoming amazing.

Outcome: WOW!  The positive female spirit is definitely overriding any physical negativity: PERFEKT!

LOL…this morning during Essie’s cuddle time, she all of a sudden, for the first time, turned PLAYFUL!  First I noticed she was trying to play with my finger.  Then I noticed the end of an envelope I tore off last night and began teasing Essie with it.   OMGs!  She had so much fun chasing that little piece of paper.  She’s MY kitty.

I took Essie into the backyard for the first time.  OMGs, she took right to the piles of wood.  She immediately started honing her claws and investigating her new surroundings.  She shot right up an elm tree.  I had to snatch her up before she went too high.  She found anything within her reach an aspect of play.  I really do feel like a new papa.

Well, now those coming in from Mt Hope are having car troubles…BE SAFE, I told ‘em!

It was an EXCELLENT Sonnewende/Midsummer!  As always, the food was plenteous.  There was Kubb, croquet, and a hose for spraying.  Even the Liut/Kindred member who is ill showed up for a bit.  OMGs!  The kids put a very exciting edge on everything.  It seemed like a good time was had by all.

The Czech Republic wasn’t even in this match at all.  Portugal had the majority of possession time, was getting all the shots and Czech Republic was content to play defense.  Portugal was simply the better team.

Moved a bit of furniture to accommodate Essie’s new kitty-condo.  It provides protection for her while she’s becoming acclimated to the home and other acclimated to her.
