Plans: call Vet, call VA, perhaps go to Minor Emergency, work 2nd shift
Greetings to you Mano/Manni, silver messenger on high, as you fly silently on your way reflect into our souls the glory of the High Ones that we might aspire to the realms of the gods. Bathe our
world in soft brightness, and whisper to our souls of joyous realms beyond our knowing. Mano/Manni let us see the goodness within us and without us, all the nights and days of our lives. MANO/MANNI, HAIL!!

Advice on how to spend the day
Outcome: Called both the Veterinarian and the VA: message into both
Ya know, I’m not too hip on the idea of dishing out $20 at the Minor Emergency for a doctor to tell me I have heat rash around my ankles and I need to wear my insoles. I’ll give it a couple days and maybe then…
Let’s just face it…I’M TIRED!
The VA called back. They actually handed out some good advice. My feet are
now swollen, too. I’ve also done some research on the WWW. This article seems
to be most informative:
My Veterinarian returned my call. He had some good suggestions as to what to look for in an inexpensive, flea-retardant medication for Meeka.
Meeka and I for a long-needed walk. I am battling my swollen feet with exercise, wearing my $100 feet (shoe insoles made of Kevlar: $100 per foot) and removing salt from my diet.
I get REAL nervous even with (hopefully) minor health issues.
Audie had a good start on the day, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut…
Work went fine; uneventful, but fine.
PM Prayer: Paltar/Baldr
Blameless Paltar/Baldr, shining god, let your goodness and your reconciliation smooth our paths on Earth. When our days here are over, light up death’s darkness with the promise of rebirth. Help is to avoid evil, and seek the good. Inspired by you, we will keep our reputations spotless that our lives be proclaimed a victory of the Spirit, and out leaving this life a tragedy. PALTAR/BALDR HAIL!
